EmEx-Transform picks up where EmEx-Consult leaves off. With EmEx-Consult, our emergency department consultants develop a comprehensive rapid improvement plan that offers your hospital a road-map to success.  With EmEx-Transform, we offer an intensive, hands-on approach to help implement solutions. We work closely with emergency department and hospital leaders to transform your emergency room into a top performer. Two or more of our emergency room consultants will travel to your hospital on average twice a month over the course of the six month engagement, in addition to spending hundreds of off-site hours actively engaged in all aspects of the performance improvement process.  You will have constant access to our team during the entire engagement. We help hospitals implement best practices and address areas needing improvement, to help fortify the seven distinct Pillars of Excellence

Emergency Excellence can help you maximize emergency department quality and performance. We particularly emphasize solutions to improve patient flow and throughput, and as a result, minimize door-to-doctor times and LWBS rates. Our patient-centered approach helps reduce patient waits and improve patient satisfaction. Our emergency medicine consultants work closely with emergency nurses and staff, to improve workflow and enhance relationships.  We look at the entire hospital as a whole, and actively engage all key stakeholders, as many of our solutions require close collaboration outside of the emergency department.

Our EmEx-Transform consultants include emergency physicians and nurses with extensive emergency department practice, operations, change theory, and business expertise.  Unlike many other emergency room consulting firms, we feel a strong clinical background is extremely important.  Our process is truly “hands-on” – we offer the opportunity for our emergency physician and nurse practitioners to become credentialed at your hospital and work as many as 10 or more clinical shifts, to help demonstrate our solutions to redefining patient flow.
